I have my B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction/Elementary Education from the University of Colorado – Denver. I have been tutoring since 2005 in a variety of subjects and grades. I have also worked as a Registered Behavior Therapist and reading intervention teacher.

Brianna Ricotta

Owner/Tutor
Brianna Ricotta is the owner with 16 years of tutoring experience. She has tutored typical, special needs, and gifted elementary, middle school, and high school students. Brianna has been working in client’s homes since 2016. She currently resides in the Denver Metro area and conducts tutoring sessions in person and by Zoom.

(2020-2021)
I homeschooled in person and by Zoom a 5th and 2nd grader using the Oak Meadow curriculum, Reading A to Z curriculum, Spectrum grammar and reading comprehension workbooks, and Math Expressions Common Core books utilizing a hands-on approach.

Tutor
(2020)
I assisted three gifted 3rd grade students in their daily academic studies and tutored a gifted 7th-grader including academic coaching.

Teacher Intern
(2019)
I worked in a first-grade class assisting students in all subjects. I worked one-on-one and with small groups. In addition, I assisted the teacher with grading and assessments.

Reading Intervention Teacher
(2019)
I taught decoding, phonics, reading, and writing skills to above and below grade level students in K-5th grade using a variety of materials and games. I regularly conducted DIBELS reading assessments for grades K-5th. I also substituted in K-3rd grade classes.

Registered Behavior Therapist
(2016-2019)
I worked with verbal/non-verbal children and adults 2-56 years old with a wide range of mental health, traumatic brain injury, and intellectual diagnoses.
